SS. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje – Member of OpenAIRE Network<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is a member of the OpenAIRE<\/a>,<\/strong> part of the European research network for open science, providing open access to research infrastructure and data.<\/p>\n

UKIM is the first university in North Macedonia to adopt an Open Science Policy, which is part of its strategy to promote the principles and practices of open science and open access. OpenAIRE has published a brief informational text on UKIM, showcasing its achievements and commitment to open science.<\/p>\n

From 2020, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje has been approved as a member of OpenAIRE which represents the European Research Network.
\nThe goal of OpenAIRE is to make science open and transparent, to provide innovative ways to communicate and monitor research, and to transform society through validated scientific knowledge. In addition, the platform enables citizens, educators, donors, civil servants and industry to find ways to make science useful to themselves, their work environment and society.
\nOpenAIRE has developed a network of partners over the years that houses a total of 65 European universities, research centers and institutions. The network consists of the National Open Access Contact Points (NOADs) managed by the European Support Office which supports the coordinated transition to open science.
\nThe network provides interoperability services that connect research and enable researchers, funders and research administrators to easily embrace open science. It also links research outcomes (publications, information, software) with their creators (researchers, institutions, donors), enabling discovery, transparency, repeatability and quality assurance of research.<\/p>\n
