For Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM), as a research-oriented university, scientific research is of paramount importance. To maintain its focus, UKIM consistently strives to adhere to European standards and principles in scientific research.

UKIM has signed the “Declaration of Commitment to the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers”.

The principles of the Charter and Code are implemented through a structured procedure known as the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). Over the next 12 months, UKIM is committed to implementing this procedure.

The HRS4R framework is a prerequisite for accessing funding under Horizon Europe, the EU’s Framework Program for Research and Innovation (2021–2027).
