for the awarding of scholarships from the Atanas Bliznakov Foundation for full-time students enrolled in first-cycle studies at the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' – Skopje in the 2025/2026 academic year

Scholarships are awarded to full-time students enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate programme at all faculties of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje.
They are awarded to students who have achieved outstanding results and success in secondary education, who have accomplishments and motivation for personal and professional development, but who lack sufficient funds for university education.

Scholarship recipients who make regular and successful progress in their studies may continue to receive the scholarship until they complete their undergraduate studies at the faculties of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje.

The scholarship amount is 2,500 US dollars (in the equivalent amount in denars), which is paid once a year into the scholarship recipient's current account.

The founder of the Atanas Bliznakoff Foundation was the emigrant Atanas Bliznakoff, born in 1901 in the Kastorian village of D'mbeni. In 1920 he left his homeland and went to the United States, where he lived and worked until 1976, when he founded this foundation. His foundation is the first and largest foundation of a Macedonian emigrant.
