Centers | Centre for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research (CeNIIS)

The Center for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research (CeNIIs) at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM) was established by the University Senate in 2021.

Mission

  • Connect scientists and researchers worldwide who are originally from North Macedonia.
  • Foster collaboration with UKIM and create networks with local researchers and young academics.
  • Develop interdisciplinary scientific hubs that enhance UKIM’s visibility within the international research ecosystem.

Vision

To serve as a hub for scientists of Macedonian origin who wish to establish collaborations with UKIM, thereby strengthening the University's internationalization and global visibility.

Founders

CeNIIs was initiated by scientists and professors at foreign universities, all originally from North Macedonia.

Digital platform of CENiis

Website research.net.mk It is an initiative of the Centre for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research at UКИМ, aimed at researchers interested in collaborating with scientists of Macedonian origin who work outside the country's borders.

The idea is research.net.mk to become a space where Macedonian scientists abroad can publish their research interests, skills and areas of expertise in order to connect with potential collaborators from Macedonia.

The project was presented in February 2023 by the members of the team of the Centre for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research.
