The publishing activity of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje has been present since its inception and encompasses academic and scientific publishing, through which the publishing activities of the University's units are integrated.
Today, publishing is focused on electronic editions, thereby building a digital library for academic publishing with electronic teaching aids and digitised scholarly journalism through the digitisation of scientific publications.

The academic e-publishing house publishes around 40 teaching aids each year, prepared by the faculties and institutes of the University, and to date more than 300 editions have been published. Scientific publishing
 The scientific publishing of UGJK is linked to the scientific research activity of the 23 faculties, the 5 scientific institutes, the 4 scientific institutes public establishments and 1 faculty associate member, which enables all scientific fields to be covered and thus develop a diverse and high-quality scientific publishing programme.
Annually, 48 international scientific journals publish more than 200 papers, of which around half are posted on a digital platform (Electronic journals of the University of Macedonia), based on editorial policies that follow the diamond model of open access, and the others are in print. UКИМ is committed to digitising all scientific journals and making them open access, which will make an important contribution to the visibility of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje as a key academic institution in the country.
