Open Science | Researcher ID Services

Researcher ID is a system for identifying researchers, introduced in 2008 by Thomson Reuters, to provide a digital identity for researchers and foster connections across global research communities. This system allows researchers to create comprehensive profiles, detailing their areas of expertise, publications, and collaborations.

Below are the ResearcherID identification services, currently available to researchers.

In line with its commitment to enhancing visibility in the global academic and research community, UKIM has adopted Rules for Visibility, recommending its researchers create profiles on the following platforms:

  • ORCID, Google Scholar, ResearchGate.
