Academic Credit System

The faculties and institutes of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje offer high-quality study programs in various fields, including natural and mathematical sciences, technical and technological sciences, medical sciences, agricultural and veterinary sciences, social sciences, humanities, and the arts. These programs are developed in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Declaration across all three cycles of academic studies.

UKIM also provides interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary programs across all three cycles, developed through collaborations between its units and international universities.

Overview of Active Study Programs:

• First Cycle: 359 accredited programs, structured as three- or four-year academic studies, awarding 180 or 240 ECTS credits.
• Second Cycle: 204 accredited programs, structured as one- or two-year academic studies, awarding 60 or 120 ECTS credits.
• Third Cycle: Doctoral studies through the School of Doctoral Studies, lasting three years and awarding 180 ECTS credits.
