European Programme for Institutional Evaluation
Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM), as a member of the European University Association (EUA), has followed the EUA’s Institutional Evaluation Programme and its guidelines for conducting self-evaluation and external evaluation. Over the years, UKIM has undergone five external evaluation processes:
Driven by the need for an external, objective assessment and the continuous development and quality assurance in all areas of its activity, the external evaluations at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje represent a continuation of the self-evaluation processes. These self-evaluation processes are regularly conducted across the University’s units and are summarized in comprehensive triennial self-evaluation reports. In compliance with the obligations stemming from the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of North Macedonia, self-evaluation committees are periodically formed at UKIM. These committees, which include representatives from the University’s units, are responsible for conducting self-evaluation processes and preparing UKIM’s self-evaluation reports. The self-evaluation processes adhere to the structure and content outlined in the EUA and ENQA guidelines for institutional follow-up evaluation.
