"From Diagnostics to Conservation: Advanced Methods for the Analysis and Cleaning of Artworks"
The Faculty of Fine Arts – Skopje, in collaboration with the University of West Attica (UNIWA), Athens, Greece, is organizing a three-day conservation workshop exclusively for FLU students.
Led by professors from UNIWA’s Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art, the workshop will introduce participants to advanced techniques for the analysis and treatment of works of art. Topics will include X Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF), Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis, the application of hydrogels, and electrochemical methods for the conservation of metal artworks.
