The Rector of UКИМ, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, met with the representatives of the UКИМ Trade Union: Prof. Dr Angel Ristov, Prof. Dr Marjan Jovanov and Mr Ilija Manasiev.
On 23 January 2025, an official meeting was held with the Rector of UKIM, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, and the representatives of the UKIM Trade Union: Prof. Dr Angel Ristov, Prof. Dr Marjan Jovanov and Mr Ilija Manasiev. The meeting addressed the positive benefits of the Collective Agreement and the readiness of both parties to preserve and improve the status of UКИМ's employees. Rector, Professor Angelova, indicated the support that UKIM provides for the observance of the legal provisions concerning trade unions for the further development of all employees, and in the interest of improving the educational process for students. The increased international activity of UKIM and the cooperation with student representatives were welcomed by the President of SSUKIM, Prof. Dr Angel Ristov. He also outlined the following activities of the SSUKIM to mark its five-year anniversary: a ceremonial academy, the trade union school, and future planned international collaborations. The joint conclusion was that this cooperation between UКИМ and СССУКИМ will continue in the future for the benefit of all UКИМ employees and students.
