Meeting between Rector Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova and H.E. the Ambassador of Japan to North Macedonia, Ms Setsuko Kawahara
On 14 April 2025, the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Professor Dr Biljana Angelova, met with Her Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to North Macedonia, Ms Setsuko Kawahara.
The meeting examined opportunities for deepening academic and scientific cooperation between UKIМ and Japanese universities, with an emphasis on joint research projects, as well as the promotion of the Japanese language and culture.
Cooperation with Japan represents a significant part of UKIM's strategy for internationalisation and the development of global academic partnerships.
