On 25 April 2025, a doctoral ceremony was held for doctoral candidates in the fields of natural and mathematical sciences, medical and health sciences, and social sciences.

In a ceremonial and traditional manner, the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, conferred the title of Doctor of Science on 17 doctoral candidates who had defended their doctoral theses at the Faculty of Law 'Justinian I', the Faculty of Philosophy, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Physical Education, Sport and Health, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, and the Institute for Sociological and Political-Legal Research.

The doctoral promotion ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the Rectorate, starting at 12:00.

The following candidates were awarded Doctor of Science degrees:

1. Luljeta Xhemaili – Doctor of Laws in International Law
2. Emilia Aleksovska – Doctor of Laws in Criminal Law
3. Aneta Boskovska – Doctor of Laws in Civil Law
4. Igor Micevski – Doctor of Social Sciences in Sociology
5. Leta Bargieva Mioska – Doctor of Social Sciences in the field of security, defence and peace
6. Katerina Kostovska – Doctor of Social Sciences in Social Work and Social Policy – Social Work
7. Betty Kostadinovska Jordanoska – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Anaesthesiology
8. Elena Ristovska – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the Field of Transfusion Medicine
9. Nebojša Nastov – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the Field of Traumatology
10. Marina Bacanovic – Doctor of Public Health
11. Violeta Hristova Yanich – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
12. Saso Danevski – Doctor of Science in Kinesiology
13. Lazar Popovski – Doctor of Science in Kinesiology
14. Blagoj Kechkovski – Doctor of Science in Kinesiology
15. Maja Lazarevska – Doctor of Geographical Sciences
