The NEW ART FOR(U)M project is conceived and established as a traditional summer school organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts, UKIM–Skopje. The primary aim of the school is to situate and explore alternative artistic practices and a discursive interdisciplinary context different from traditional studio-based artistic practices and protocols.
This session of the summer school focuses on photography as a platform for creatively conceptualizing and interpreting an interdisciplinary artwork.
Participants had the opportunity to become familiar—both theoretically and practically—with the photographic medium, the functioning of photographic cameras, and their use in various lighting conditions. On this occasion, landscape photography was treated as documentary photography, as part of a more complex artwork, or as the basis for creating a multimedia piece.
The session took place in the village of Lazaropole (Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše).
The NEW ART FOR(U)M project is supported by: Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje through IKSSSA fund, Ministry of Culture, Europe House Skopje, Fontys Academy of the Arts
