- Abstract: "The textbook 'Applied Viticulture' by the author Professor Dr Biljana Korunovska is a contemporary and systematised material intended for the second cycle of studies on the Oenology programme at the Agricultural Institute – Skopje, but can also be used for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje, and can also serve as supplementary literature for individual producers working in this specific field.
The textbook is divided into three main chapters. In the first chapter, the morphological, anatomical and physiological characteristics of the grapevine are examined, with an emphasis on the study of biological processes. The second chapter is devoted to the methods and techniques for producing vine planting material, offering practical guidance for high-quality reproduction. The third chapter covers the agronomic characteristics and cultivation techniques of the grapevine, with the aim of providing optimal conditions for applied viticultural production. The textbook is structured to provide a scientific foundation and applicable knowledge, with a clear link between theory and practice.
