The Economic Institute in Skopje is celebrating its 70th anniversary.

On 18 May 2022, the Economic Institute-Skopje held a special ceremony to mark its 70th anniversary. At the ceremony, in addition to the Director of the Economic Institute, Prof. Dr Zoran Janevski, the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Nikola Janкуловски, and the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, also delivered addresses. Dr Jeton Shaqiri.
As part of the celebrations for its significant 70th anniversary, the Economic Institute has signed an EDU partnership agreement with Datalab MK, a company that supports businesses in their digital transformation process. The collaboration between the Economic Institute and Datalab MK is based on the granting of licences for the Pantheon ERP business software and will result in the formation of Digital Transformation Laboratory. Database MK and the Economic Institute, in addition to collaborating for educational purposes, will also offer commercial service packages to businesses in the country on the market, making the most of the resources at their disposal.
As part of the ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the Institute, certificates of appreciation were awarded to state institutions, faculties and institutes from the country and abroad, including the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of North Macedonia. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to private companies, foundations and individuals with whom the Economic Institute – Skopje has had a successful and long-standing collaboration.
As part of the celebration, the Economic Institute-Skopje awarded certificates of appreciation to students who completed their master's degree between 2017 and 2022 on the Institute's various postgraduate study programmes, having achieved outstanding success and a high grade point average. In addition to the certificates of appreciation, the Economic Institute, in cooperation with Datalab MK, also presented these students with special awards in the form of a one-year licence for the Pantheon ERP business software, including all modules and access to digital training resources.
