On 5 April 2022, a doctoral defence was held in the field of medical sciences and healthcare.
In a solemn and traditional ceremony, the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Nikola Jankulovski, conferred the degrees of nine doctoral candidates who had defended their doctoral theses at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje.
The doctoral promotion ceremony was held in the Rectorate's hall, in compliance with the protocols and measures of the competent authorities in the Republic of North Macedonia, to prevent the introduction and spread of the CoVid-19 coronavirus.
The following candidates were awarded doctorates:

1. Cornelia Trajkova, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Gynaecology and Obstetrics
2. Goran Kochoski, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Gynaecology and Obstetrics
3. Biljana Chekorova Mitreva, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Family Medicine
4. Kirill Mihaylov, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Basic Medicine in the field of Microbiology
5. Elena Petkovic, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Transfusiology
6. Maria Tolesk Donesk, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care
7. Rosa Spasova, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Gynaecology and Obstetrics
8. Svetlana Krstevska Blaževska, Doctor of Public Health
9. Elena Tsurakova Ristovska, Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
