On 10 March 2022, a doctoral defence was held in the field of social and humanities sciences.
In a solemn and traditional manner, the Rector of UКИМ, Prof. Dr Nikola Janкулoски, conferred the title of Doctor of Science on nine doctoral candidates who had defended their doctoral theses at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje.
The doctoral promotion ceremony was held in the Rectorate's hall, in compliance with the protocols and measures of the competent authorities in the Republic of North Macedonia, to prevent the introduction and spread of the CoVid-19 coronavirus.
The following candidates were awarded doctorates:

1. Blagica Mihajlovska Kotovchevska – Doctor of Science in Peace and Development Studies
2. Arbresha Zenki Dalipi – Doctorate in the social sciences – pedagogy
3. Emina Risteska – a doctor in the social sciences, specialising in sociology
4. Iva Petunova – a doctor in the social sciences, specialising in sociology
5. Marjan Stepanovski – Doctor of Peace and Development
6. Amel Kurtishi Doctor of Sociological Sciences
7. Mary Tzackic – Doctor of European Studies in Integration
8. Dragana Lazarevska Doctor of Social Work and Social Policy
9. Jehoana Spahiu Jancevska – Doctor of Art History
