Participation of UKIM representatives at the Rectors' Forum held at the University of Sarajevo
The Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, and Prof. Dr Ognen Marina are participating in the two-day (30-31 May 2024) the 8th Rector's Forum of South East Europe and the Western Balkans, which is being held at the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo. The forum aims to improve and expand cooperation between the universities of the region. The Rectors' Forum originated from the 'Berlin Process' – an initiative for better integration of South-East Europe. The Forum is dedicated to promoting European policies in science and higher education, exchanging good practices and strengthening cooperation through joint projects. At the panel discussion on the future of universities in Europe, Rector Professor Dr Biljana Angelova, who participated as a panellist, emphasised that "Besides digitalisation, the readiness and capacity of people for change is the most essential prerequisite for a better future for our universities.".
