Ceremonial first lecture at UGJK for the new generation of students 2024-2025
Skopje, 1 October 2024 – Today marked the new beginning for around 5,000 young people who decided to step into a new era of their lives. The new generation of students was warmly welcomed by representatives of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje and by delegates of the University Student Assembly. This unifying day uplifted and spread the student spirit that resides in all of us.
A big thank you to the speakers at today's event – the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, the President of the USS-UKIM Aleksandar Nikolovski, the President, Prof. Dr Gordana Sijanovska Davkova, the President of the Government, Prof. Dr Hristijan Mickoski, the orator Ivona Todorova and the presenter Sofija Dashtevska. Their kind words echoed through the air across our Plateau, welcoming the new students with open arms.
To our first-year students, we wish the greatest positivity, the loveliest days and complete ease as they navigate the new paths that student life opens up. ✨
