Ukim has awarded the German professor Peter Mark the title of Honorary Professor.

We awarded the title of Honorary Professor to Prof. Dr Peter Mark from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany with the title of Honorary Professor, which is awarded to distinguished individuals from the country and abroad who, through their scientific, professional or social activities, have made an exceptional contribution to the development of science, education or to the promotion of cooperation with the University.
„The recognition we are awarding you today is the fruit of the dedication, knowledge and hard work you have invested in the development of the academic and scientific community. Your collaboration with the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje is an example of how the international exchange of knowledge and experience can create lasting and fruitful partnerships. With this award, we are not only recognising your hard work, but also reaffirming our commitment to further building bridges between universities, in order to encourage young researchers and students to new achievements and innovations," stated Rector Angelova upon presenting the award.
„"Our collaboration has taught me that trust knows no bounds — it needs attention, care and patience, and in the end you have the opportunity to make true friends for life," said Professor Mark, expressing his gratitude.
The ceremony for the conferral of the title was held as part of the celebrations for the 76th anniversary of its founding and its patronal feast day – the Day of Saints Cyril and Methodius.
