Official Start of the Implementation of the Erasmus+ KA220 Project “Intercultural Skills for Administrative Staff in Higher Education Institutions” (IKAS)

From 17 to 19 November 2025, in Caen, France, the implementation (kick-off) of the Erasmus+ KA220 project Intercultural Skills for Administrative Staff in Higher Education Institutions (IKAS) officially began.

The event was attended by representatives from all partner universities in the IKAS project: the University of Caen – Normandy (France), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia), the University of Lapland (Finland), the University of Valladolid (Spain), the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic), and the University of Fribourg (Switzerland).

The UKIM delegation actively participated in the three-day event, which included working sessions dedicated to planning the project activities, aligning methodologies and timelines, as well as coordination meetings focused on the organisational, pedagogical, and technical aspects of project implementation.

Within the IKAS project, administrative staff from the partner universities will attend English language and intercultural skills trainings aimed at improving administrative processes and strengthening international cooperation.

The IKAS project is part of the broader framework of cooperation among the members of the AcrossEU University Alliance, which aims to create an integrated European Education Area and contribute to its further strengthening through mobility, digital transformation, and the development of innovative research and study programmes.
