European University Alliance Across the EU publishes Call for project applications – Seed funding, intended for students, teaching staff and researchers, with the aim of supporting innovative, joint and interdisciplinary initiatives at a European level.

AcrossEU unites 9 higher education institutions from 8 European countries, based on a shared vision of building a common, inclusive and visionary European university.

Through its rich network of diverse cultures, expertise and innovation, AcrossEU promotes collaboration among partners in the fields of education, research and innovation, while also encouraging the mobility of students and staff.

Call for support of ambitious initiatives for cooperation

This Call aims to support initiatives led by the alliance's members and to strengthen cooperation among the universities that are members of AcrossEU.

The call enables teaching staff, researchers and students to develop joint projects at a European level, by supporting initiatives that are feasible and time-limited, but have high potential for further development.

The selected projects will receive financial funding in the amount of 5.000,00 to 10,000,00 euros, in order to support activities such as mobility, the organisation of scientific or educational events, as well as publications.

Terms and criteria

Researchers, academic staff and students from one of the AcrossEU member universities may apply.
Proposal projects are submitted by teams composed of participants from at least two AcrossEU member universities.
Each project proposal must have one designated principal applicant from one of the AcrossEU member institutions.
Each project proposal must have a local coordinator appointed at each of the participating universities.
The lead applicant is responsible for coordinating the project and monitoring its implementation.
Early-career researchers and students are particularly encouraged to apply.
The participation of external partners is possible; however, they are not eligible for direct funding under this call.
