UКИМ becomes part of the University Network of the European Institute for Cultural Routes
The University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje became a member of the University Network for Cultural Routes Studies at the European Institute for Cultural Routes (EICR), by signing a framework cooperation agreement in January 2026.
This network brings together the universities that research cultural routes within the Council of Europe's Cultural Routes programme, initiated in 1987.
Through the Institute for Macedonian Literature, UKI&M also actively participates in the Cultural Route of Saints Cyril and Methodius, certified by the Council of Europe in 2021.
This membership opens up new opportunities for:

👩🎓 student exchanges
📖 affirmation of Macedonian and European cultural heritage
