International Women's Day 2026 marked at UKIM
Today, the event "International Women's Day, 2026, under the motto 'Rights, Justice and Action for All Women and Girls'" was held at the Rectorate of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje.„
The event was jointly organised by the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth and the United Nations in North Macedonia, and brought together more than 100 participants – students, professors, representatives of institutions, the diplomatic community and civil society organisations.
Rector Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova emphasised that:

The event featured panel discussions with women leaders, interactive conversations with
young participants and the presentation of a mentoring programme to support young women in developing their leadership potential.
