Flute seminar with Prof. Dejan Gavrić
From 14 to 16 May, a flute seminar with Prof. Dejan Gavrić will be held at the FMU.
Dejan Gavrić was born in Belgrade in 1966.
From 1984 to 1988 he studied at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. After receiving a scholarship to continue his education at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, he studied in the class of Professor Matthias Ruters.
𝄞He graduated from Folkwang University of the Arts with distinction in February 1991. As a student, he won First Prize in the Folkwang University of the Arts competition, as well as the prestigious Folkwang Award for his artistic achievements.
In 1993, after completing his postgraduate studies with distinction at the same institution, he became a professor at the Folkwang University of the Arts.
Since 2002, Dejan Gavrić has been employed as a full professor of flute at the Hochschule für Musik Rheinland-Pfalz.
