The new composition of the ICRSM has been constituted.

Prof. Dr Sasho Kuranovski, the Rector of UKLO, is the new President

 

At the meeting held on 24 June 2021, the Interuniversity Conference of the Republic of North Macedonia was constituted for the 2021-2024 mandate period.
In accordance with Article 89, paragraph 4 of the current Law on Higher Education, the Interuniversity Conference is composed of the rectors of accredited universities, the presidents of the university student assemblies, 20 members from among full professors, elected by the senates of the universities by secret ballot, proportionally represented according to their share of the total number of first-year students enrolled in the academic year, and one member elected from among the directors of independent higher vocational schools.
At the constitutive session of the Interuniversity Conference, the Rector of the University "St. Clement of Ohrid" in Bitola, Professor Dr Sašo Koruновski, was unanimously elected President of this public legal body.
The new president will carry out this function in the upcoming term of office, beginning on 24 June 2021.
The current function of President of the Interuniversity Conference has been carried out by Professor Dr Nikola Jankulovski, the current Rector of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje.
An interuniversity conference is a form of cooperation and a body through which the common interests of accredited public and private higher education institutions in the Republic of North Macedonia are coordinated, and within which decisions are made on matters of common interest to all higher education organisations in the country.
