A memorandum of cooperation was signed.

Today, 15 July, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, represented by the Rector, Professor Dr Nikola Jankulovski, and The Employers' Organisation of Macedonia, represented by its President, Dr Vladanka Trajkovska, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the premises of UGJK

Through this Memorandum of Cooperation, the contracting parties aim to regulate their mutual relationship and to foresee their long-term cooperation and mutual support in future activities by implementing joint projects, with the aim of meeting the demand for highly qualified personnel in all segments of the private and public sectors, continuously adapting to the dynamic changes in this field, as well as increasing the private sector's interest in the University's graduates.

By signing this Memorandum, the contracting parties express their readiness for the cooperation in question, based on mutual trust and understanding, and agree to base the cooperation on the principles and procedures set out in this Memorandum.

In accordance with this Memorandum, a long-term partnership will be established between the contracting parties, and the cooperation will cover the following:
  • provision of practical training for students during their studies;
  • analyses of the market's requirements for personnel profiles;
  • Implementation of joint projects and the involvement of representatives of the business community in the processes of modernising study programmes and creating new study programmes in accordance with the needs of the labour market;
  • development of forms of upskilling and reskilling for the needs of the business sector;
  • joint participation and recognition of the final outcomes from: workshops, expert seminars, conferences, panel discussions, forum debates and training;
  • providing assistance through specialised training and education in the fields of: healthcare, education, law, finance, banking, management, entrepreneurship, IT, new technologies, etc.;
  • joint participation in projects financed by the member states of the European Union, as well as the use of other international funds for the development of the Western Balkan countries;
  • The continuous creation of creative intelligence that will serve as a guide or a stimulus for every individual in the pursuit of success.
