The GREDIT 2022 conference was held at the UKIM Technical Campus.

On 6 May 2022, in Skopje, at the technical campus of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius', the opening of the scientific conference dedicated to environmental issues, GREDIT2022 Green development, was held. green infrastructure, green technology under the patronage of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Prof. Dr Stevo Pendarovski, organised by the Association 6th Star, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Skopje, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius', BENA (Balkan Environmental Association) and the Chamber of Authorised Architects and Authorised Engineers.

At the opening, the conference was addressed by the Minister for the Environment and Spatial Planning, Naser Nuredini, the Rector of UКИМ, Professor Dr Nikola Jankulovski, the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Skopje, Professor Dr Darko Danev, President of the Chamber of Authorised Architects and Authorised Engineers, Ms Kristinka Radevski, Dr Chaner Zabnak, a representative of BEN and Professor Dr Dame Dimitrovski, President of the conference organising committee.

Over 100 scientific papers were presented at the conference by scientists from the fields of air, water and soil pollution; renewable energy; management of urban and industrial waste; energy efficiency; climate change; and the health aspects of environmental pollution. agroecology and management of environmental risks from the country, the region and beyond.
