The Economic Institute – Skopje, as a unit of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, on 18 May 2022 Celebrating 70 years of its existence. On this occasion, the Institute is organising a special ceremony, at which, in addition to the Director of the Economic Institute, Prof. Dr Zoran Janevski, the Rector of UКИМ, Prof. Dr Nikola Jankulovski, and the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, Dr Jeton Shaqiri, will also speak.

As part of the celebrations for its significant 70th anniversary, the Economic Institute will sign an EDU partnership agreement with Datalab MK, a company that supports businesses in their digital transformation process. It is a company that collaborates with several educational institutions in the region, providing them with access to modern tools for operational functioning.
As part of the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the institute's founding, the Economic Institute will present certificates of appreciation to faculties, scientific institutes, institutions and private companies from the country and abroad with which the Institute has had a successful and long-standing collaboration. Certificates of appreciation will also be awarded to students who graduated with a high average mark and notable success in the postgraduate study programmes of the Economic Institute during the 2017-2020 period.
