At UКИМ, joint activities for cooperation between science and industry
Today, a meeting was held at the premises of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje between the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of North Macedonia, Branko Azeski, the Rector of the University of South East Europe, Prof. Dr Abdulmenaf Bedzeti, the Rector of Goce Delchev University, Prof. Dr Dejan Mirakovski, and the Rector of the University 'St. Clement of Ohrid', Prof. Dr Igor Nedelkovski. Also present at the meeting were the vice-rectors and the Secretary General of UGM, and the Vice-Rector for Investments and Development of UGD. The aim of the meeting was to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the academic and business sectors through joint activities by the universities and the chamber, in multiple areas. It was emphasised that the activities would be carried out with the aim of increasing the economy's competitiveness, improving scientific and applied research, enhancing the development of innovation and technological transfer, and joint participation in domestic and international projects, as well as in the field of the green economy. arbitration of commercial disputes at the chamber, the protection of industrial property rights, dual education, entrepreneurship, internships and facilitation in the implementation of new standards and technologies.
