Meeting with the CLEC delegation from the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China

Today, 12 June 2024, Rector Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova received the high-level delegation from the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, led by Deputy Director Ms Jing Wei. The meeting saw a sharing of positive experiences from the long-standing cooperation between UGJK and the Centre, as well as with renowned universities in the PR China.
In particular, the successful development of the Confucius Institute at UCM was highlighted, which for 11 years has been offering Chinese language courses for all ages and promoting Chinese culture. In order to enhance cooperation, the programmes offered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China for international students at all three cycles, and the new initiatives for scientific research projects and studies, were discussed.
