On 8 October 2024, the Media Innovation Centre was officially opened at the Faculty of Law 'Justinian I' at UCM. For the first time in the history of these studies, journalism students have been provided with a fully equipped space for the production of all types of media content. The centre has a professional studio where journalism students will acquire professional skills for the media industry and journalism through practical work. The studio will be open to all initiatives from other UoK students. The training will be conducted by professional journalists.

The Media Innovation Centre is the result of a joint project between the Faculty of Law at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, and is supported by the US Embassy in Skopje.
