• Abstract: The textbook Fundamentals of TV Directing is intended for students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts – Department of Film and TV Directing as a teaching aid for mastering the theoretical and professional-artistic subject: TV Directing. In developing the textbook, we were guided by the curriculum for these studies. The methodology is systematised according to specialist literature from relevant world-renowned names in TV directing and production. However, for the final form of the textbook, an interview-based method was employed, to pre-set questions, with established and renowned Macedonian film and television figures, experts in the field who provided an original and unique dimension to the conception of the content and the approach to the phenomenon under discussion – the fundamentals of TV directing.
