On 07.06.2022 Starting from 10:00, a full-day event will be held on the campus of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, '„Career Development Day“Organised by UGJK and THRIVITY. At the open event for students, established companies from the country and abroad will participate, giving them the opportunity to present their employment and internship opportunities during and after their studies.

The interactive event will last eight hours, and the programme will be filled with panel discussions and short motivational speeches that will encourage, guide and support students in their future career development.

The motivational speakers are:

• Oliver Haferbeck – Global Senior Vice President of Innovation AT and CEO of Sensile Medical AG, Advanced Technology – Inspiration for employment, global openness of the labour market
• Dejan Vanevski – THRIVITY – Competency Development – the bridge between formal education and the demands of companies
• Professor Dr. Sofia Georgievska, Faculty of Philosophy, UKI M – Career Counselling in Higher Education – Positive Global Practices

And the topics of the panels are:

• The importance of internships and preparation for students' first employment
• Hybrid professions – the new reality for young people and companies

The moderator of the panels is Ognen Janeski.

More than 25 companies will be presenting themselves at the event with their own stands, including: Alkaloid, Rade Končar, Philip Morris, Replek, Skopsko Pivara, Euronikel, Mak Progres, ProCredit Bank, NLB Bank, Halkbank, Sparkasse Bank, Lactalis, Gerresheimer, Inditex, Van Hool, Slice, TaskForce, Neлт, Viva Soaks, Vesta Drogerija, Varus/Bionica, Ramstore, Ading, Johnson Matthey, DS Smith, Tikvesh, Макстил and British American Tobacco.

In addition to the company stands, representatives from the Association of Career Counsellors will also be at the event to help students draft a professional CV and to provide immediate advice and career guidance.

During the event, several DJs will ensure a good atmosphere, and there will also be entertainment and refreshment zones.
