Deepening cooperation between the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje and the University of West Attica

With a view to deepening the already established academic cooperation, on 1 April 2026 a meeting was held at the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje between Rector Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova and the Rector of
University of Western Attica, Professor Dr Panagiotis Kaldis.

🍀 The meeting was organised to mark the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two institutions, and was also attended by Prof. Dr. Georgios Panagiaris, Head of the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art at the University of Western Attica and a long-standing collaborator of the Faculty of Fine Arts at UKIM.

✅ During the talks, mutual satisfaction with the collaboration to date was expressed, with particular emphasis on the cooperation between the Department of Conservation and the Faculty of Fine Arts at UКИМ, developed through the Erasmus+ programme and realised through joint activities and study visits.

Both sides expressed their readiness to further expand and deepen cooperation in other academic and scientific research fields.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation, which establishes a framework for the further development of joint activities.,
