On 26 February 2026, a doctoral ceremony was held for doctoral candidates in the fields of medical and health sciences, social sciences, humanities, agricultural and veterinary sciences, and engineering and technology.

In a ceremonial and traditional manner, the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, conferred degrees on 21 doctoral candidates who had defended their doctoral theses at the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Law 'Justinian I', the Faculty of Economics, the Institute of Macedonian Literature, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food and the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy.

The doctoral promotion ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the Rectorate, starting at 12:00.

The following candidates were awarded Doctor of Science degrees:

1) Rozeta Sokolova – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Paediatric Surgery
2) Aneta Atanasovska – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Occupational Medicine
3) Ognen Shešoski – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in the field of Orthopaedics
4) Ivo Kunovsk – Doctor of Public Health
5) Dejan Todevski – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Pulmonology and Allergy
6) Tea Lalevska – Doctor of Laws in Civil Law
7) Shkurt Kadri – Doctor of Laws in Civil Law
8) Andrea Zdravkovska – Doctor of Laws in Civil Law
9) Andriyana Matlioska – Doctor of Laws in Business Law
