Promotion of the collective monograph "Macedonian Poetics and Stylistics"„
On 12 June 2025, starting at 12 noon, On 12 June 2025, at 12 noon, the promotion of the collective monograph 'Macedonian Poetics and Stylistics' – the first national monograph dedicated to poetics and stylistics in the South Slavic countries – will be held at the Rectorate of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje.
The collective monograph 'Macedonian Poetics and Stylistics' is published by the Commission for Stylistics of the International Committee for Slavic Studies and the Institute for Slavic Studies at the University of Karl Franz in Graz. The publication is the result of the many years of work of several Macedonian members of the Stylistics Commission of the International Committee for Slavic Studies. The authors of the monograph are the research scholars from the Institute for Macedonian Literature: Slavcho Kovilovski, Marina Cvetanoska, Biljana Rajchinova-Nikolova, Slavica Petrovska-Gjorgjevska and Ema Lakinska, and the professors from the Faculty of Philology 'Blaže Koneski': Vesna Mojсова-Chepishевска, Ivan Antonovski and Trajche Stameski, as well as Branko Toshevich from the University of Graz. The publication is edited by Branko Toshevich and Slavcho Koviloski.
This is the first publication of its kind in and for Macedonian literature. The monograph was published as the third book in the series "Slavic Stylistics". The first team of authors to complete this endeavour was the Macedonian, making it the first national monograph dedicated to poetics and stylistics in the South Slavic countries.
