Students will always be the meaning of our existence.

The focus in 2025 will be on the digital transformation of UKI, enrolling as many international students as possible, and completing the sports hall on the social and humanities campus, innovating some of the study programmes with a greater emphasis on practical teaching, introducing short undergraduate programmes and introducing new interdisciplinary undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes.

Students will always be the reason for our existence. They are our top priority. Working with students, listening to their problems, priorities and ideas, is a particularly important task and our duty. Involving students in all University activities will continue to be our commitment in the future. The mission of the University is to provide not only a top-quality education and exceptional knowledge, but also the highest level of competence, and to prepare its students for the labour market.

My message to all secondary school students is to never hold back from acquiring new knowledge and skills. They should be persistent – to study, be curious and explore, because only knowledge will lead them to the levels they aspire to. Knowledge is a value that is always and everywhere appreciated, valued and is a prerequisite for success and prosperity. I would advise them that the choices they make today may shape the trajectory of their tomorrow. The world is vast and full of opportunities waiting to be seized. But that requires courage, determination, and unwavering commitment. It requires flexibility in the face of challenges, adaptability to change, and a tireless pursuit of excellence.

The University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje is precisely that place, a place that has been and will remain an environment where excellence is nurtured, scientific thought is strengthened and advanced, and which will always be open to all those who wish to continue their education, here. We are constantly by our students' side on this journey, guiding them to overcome all their dilemmas and obstacles, and will always be guided by the aspirations of the youngest minds, with a striving to raise the quality of teaching, student services, and the overall work of UKIM.
