 It is with great honour and pleasure that we announce that three university professors from the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje have successfully completed the international training for GCDF (Global Career Development Facilitator) and have obtained a certificate as career counsellors:
▪️ Prof. Dr Jana Klopchevska – Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy
▪️ Prof. Dr Maja Celeska Krstevska – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
▪️ Prof. Dr Igor Sekkovski – Faculty of Fine Arts

Including them, UKIM now has a total of 8 GCDF-certified career counsellors:

▪️ Ms Marijana Cvetkovska – Faculty of Economics
▪️ Prof. Dr. Sofia Georgievska – Faculty of Philosophy
▪️ Prof. Dr Blagica Sekkovska – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
▪️ Prof. Dr Trajche Velkovski – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

Choosing and developing a career is a long-term process that requires continuous support, information and professional guidance. Through the Career Centre at UGJK, under the leadership of Professor Dr Jasmina Tonik Ribarska, students receive expert assistance to connect their interests, values and abilities with the opportunities of the modern labour market.

The new GCDF-certified career counsellors will contribute to:
✔️ Individual and group support for students in choosing and planning their careers
✔️ stronger link between academic programmes and the real needs of employers
✔️ Career skills development, career guidance and employability
✔️ Improving the quality and availability of the services of the Career Centre at UKIM
