University Newsletter

In the annals of the historical development of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, the first issue of the University Newsletter was published in January 1976. The inaugural university publication, titled “Why Are We Publishing?”, was introduced by the then Rector, Academician Dimitar Mitrev.

The first issue was released during a year marking 30 years of higher education in Macedonia and 27 years of successful work at the University.

The University Newsletter can be considered a chronicle of the University's mission, continuing the vision of Rector Dimitar Mitrev: “…through this publication, to fill the information gap about the activities of higher education institutions.”
