The 58th Summer School of the International Seminar on the Macedonian Language, Literature and Culture at UCM begins.
📢This week in Ohrid, the 58th Summer School of the International Seminar for Macedonian Language, Literature and Culture at UCM will begin❗
The School, which will run until 28 August, will be attended by 60 foreign Macedonists and Slavists from 16 countries, who are coming to Ohrid to deepen their knowledge and studies of the Macedonian language, literature and culture.
Seminarists from university centres in Albania, England, Bulgaria, Poland, the People's Republic of China, Romania, Canada, the Russian Federation, the United States of America, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Hungary, France, Croatia and the Czech Republic have registered.
Among the seminarists are university professors, prominent researchers from the world of Slavic studies – linguists, literary scholars and cultural studies specialists, and literary translators, but also new enthusiasts of Macedonistics who express their readiness to contribute to the promotion of the Macedonian language, literature and culture in the world.
📌The great interest in the School is yet another confirmation of the growing interest in Macedonistics within the international academic community❗
