University Communications Centre

The University Communication Centre (UCC) is an organisational unit of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje, established by a decision of the University Senate. The Centre was created as a result of the transformation of the University Radio Student FM 92.9 into a contemporary multimedia platform, tailored to the needs of new generations of students and the dynamic digital media landscape.

The UKC is a central hub where technology, student creativity and academic activity converge. Through innovative media formats and contemporary digital tools, the centre offers a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering discussion and showcasing the ideas and achievements of the students and academic staff of UCM.

The Centre serves as the hub for all internal and external communication activities of the university. It is responsible for coordinating UKiM's communications, managing the university's brand and identity, building relationships with the media, students, staff, alumni and other stakeholders, as well as for crisis communication when necessary.

The programme activities of UKC are realised through various media and educational content: the student programme 'UKIM Nedelnik', the student programme 'Studentski Puls', the student newspaper 'Avangarda', the video series 'Academic Stories' and educational multimedia workshops. The media production is realised in collaboration with the Centre for Media Innovation at the 'Justinian I' Faculty of Law in Skopje.
