Career Center

The Career Centre is an internal organisational unit of the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje, comprising the career centres of the University's units.
The Career Centre, within the scope of its remit, carries out the following tasks:

  • Prepares a Strategy for the development of the Career Centre with an Action Plan and budget;
  • organises internships and students' first access to the labour market and networking;
  • organises workshops on career counselling and behavioural skills development;
  • develops a marketing plan to promote the University and its graduates to the business community and carries out networking;
  • develops a system for establishing the University's Alumni Association and maintains a record of former students (alumni);
  • assists students in obtaining information for their career planning, career development, professional training and career counselling;
  • organises 'Open Days at the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje' with the aim of familiarising prospective students with the opportunities for studying at the University;
  • collaborates with the Public Cooperation and Trust Committees;
  • conducts research into the labour market;
  • Also carries out other tasks in the field of career counselling.

Structure of the Centre

Career Centre Council

At the university level, a Career Centre Council is being established.

The Council is composed of: the Head of the Career Centre, the coordinators of the Career Centres and two student representatives.

Joint coordinator

Career centers from units within the same academic field (first-level scientific area) are represented by a joint coordinator in the University Career Center.
