Studies Structure of doctoral studies

Doctoral studies involve active research work under supervision, last at least three years and carry 180 ECTS credits.

The study programme consists of the following activities:

1. Organised academic training (42 ECTS credits);
2. Independent research project for the preparation of the doctoral thesis under supervision (doctoral project) (41 ECTS credits);
3. International mobility (6 ECTS credits);
4. Lectures and other types of communication activities (18 ECTS credits);
5. Publication in peer-reviewed scientific publications and active participation in international conferences (27 ECTS credits);
6. Preparation and public defence of a doctoral thesis (46 ECTS credits).
