First Workshop

Title: Principles of open science

Information about the workshopThe workshop sessions will provide an introduction to the fundamentals of open science, such as open publications, open data, open methods and tools, and open services and infrastructure. Additionally, current activities within the framework of the European Open Science Cloud will be presented.European Open Science Cloud) as the European Commission's central hub for open science. Second Workshop

Title: Open Access and Citation

Information about the workshopThe first part of the lecture is focused on open access to scientific papers and data in electronic form (English: Open Access), with the aim of informing doctoral candidates about how to publish in open access journals and platforms, as well as providing information on Creative Commons licences as some of the most common and well-known open access licences. The second part of the lecture covers the rules and various citation styles for academic papers. This workshop is supported by the project NI4OS-Europe.
