The top graduating engineering students of UGJK – recipients of the 'Engineering Ring 2025'„
On 3 September 2025, on Ploshnik in Ohrid, the 14 most successful graduate engineers from the country received the prestigious "Engineering Ring" award. Of these, nine are from the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" – Skopje.
The Engineering Ring is a unique recognition in the region, and much further afield, which enables the promotion of engineering and science as pillars of societal development by rewarding the best graduating students. At the same time, this act emphasises the elitism that should encourage young people to pursue professional development, guiding them towards research, the development of innovative thinking and entrepreneurship.
This award was established by the Engineering Institution of Macedonia and since 2003 has been presented by the President of the Republic in cooperation with the Chamber of Authorised Architects and Engineers.
