Today, a delegation from the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje, led by the rector Professor Dr Nikola Jankulovski, and composed of the vice-rectors: Professor Dr Biljana Angelova, Professor Dr. Kristina Spasevska, Professor Dr Valentina Gechevska, Professor Dr Ordan Chukaliev and the Secretary General of UKIM Marija Manevska, LL.M., as well as from the President of the University Senate Professor Dr Aneta Barakoska, laid fresh flowers at the monument to the patrons of UCM, the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, which is located on the plateau of the university's Faculty of Social Sciences campus. A delegation of UCM students, led by Eva Tsvetkovska, President of the University Student Assembly of UKIM.
At the monument, in honour of the national holiday '24 May', high-ranking delegations from the state leadership, the diplomatic corps and other socio-political organisations in the country laid fresh flowers.
The deans and directors of the UCM units joined the celebration of the patrons by laying fresh flowers. The laying of fresh flowers by the deans and directors of UCM will also take place over the coming days due to COVID-19 protocols and safety measures.
In collaboration with MRTV, a special programme has been recorded to mark the patron saint's day of UGJK, which will be broadcast on 24 May on the first programme, starting at 18:00.
