Prof. Dr Vlado Bučkovski has been elected President of the University Senate for a one-year term of office.

On 23 June this year, the constitutive session of the University Senate for the mandate period from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2029 was held at the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje.

As part of the session, in accordance with the established agenda, the process of constituting the University Senate was carried out.

For this purpose, a Verification Commission was formed, which verified the mandates of the members of the Senate.

Subsequently, the Senate proceeded to elect a President of the University Senate. An Electoral Commission was formed, which conducted the procedure in accordance with the University's applicable regulations and acts. Following the vote, Prof. Dr Vlado Bučkovski from the Faculty of Law 'Justinian I' was elected President of the University Senate for a one-year term of office.

With the holding of the constitutive session and the decisions made, the new composition of the University Senate has officially commenced its work, exercising its powers in accordance with the University's legal and statutory provisions.
