On 20 October 2025, a doctoral promotion was held in the fields of medical and health sciences, social sciences and humanities.

In a ceremonial and traditional manner, the Rector of the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje, Prof. Dr Biljana Angelova, conferred the title of Doctor of Science on 17 doctoral candidates who had defended their doctoral theses at the Faculty of Medicine, the Economic Institute, the Faculty of Philology 'Blaže Koneski', the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Pharmacy in Skopje.

The doctoral promotion ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the Rectorate, starting at 12:00.

The following candidates were awarded Doctor of Science degrees:

1. Bojan Labachevski – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Basic Medicine in the Field of Clinical Pharmacology
2. Natasha Ilieva – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Gynaecology and Obstetrics

4. Maria Popova – Labachevska – Doctor of Medical Sciences – Clinical Medicine in Haematology
5. Angela Zafirova – Doctor of Organisational Sciences and Management

7. Ana Arsovska – Doctor of Humanities – Linguistics – English Studies
