CALL

for the awarding of scholarships to students enrolled in first-cycle studies in the 2025/2026 academic year by the "Konstantin Stoyanov" Foundation at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje

The "Konstantin Stoyanov" Foundation at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje is awarding scholarships to students enrolled in undergraduate studies for the 2025/2026 academic year, in the study programmes in French Language and Literature at the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and at the Department of Translation and Interpretation (with French as the first/second language) of the Faculty of Philology "Blaže Koneski" in Skopje, at the University 'St. Cyril and Methodius' in Skopje.

      I. All enrolled students meeting the criteria for the respective programs mentioned above are eligible to apply.

• For the first cycle of studies, in the degree programmes Language Science – Romance Studies (French) and Literary and Cultural Studies – Romance Studies (French Literature), upon fulfilling the following conditions:

1. To be citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia and not to be beneficiaries of any scholarship;
2. Candidates must have regular student status and be unemployed (preference will be given to candidates with limited financial means);
3. Lowest average success for all registered candidates – 8.00;
4. Candidates on French language study programmes will be given preference.;
5. For students from the Department of Translation and Interpretation (first and second year), priority will be given to those whose first language is French, for those whose first language is French, priority will be given to those who are first-year students, and for those whose second language is French, selection will be based on the average mark for their French language courses.;
6. For third and fourth-year students of the Department of Translation and Interpretation, it is a requirement to take the French-language courses (compulsory and optional) from the first to the fourth year (Contemporary French, Translation, Interpretation, Cultural Studies 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.);
7. A further condition for all students to continue receiving the Foundation's scholarship is to have passed all their exams within the stipulated deadlines.
   
   II. The scholarship amounts to 12,000.00 MKD per month.

   III. The rights and obligations of scholarship recipients will be determined through a signed agreement.

   IV. Applications, together with the required documentation, must be submitted within 15 days of the date the competition is published on the websites of UGJK and the Faculty of Philology "Blaže Koneski" in Skopje.

The "Konstantin Stojanov" Foundation at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje awards scholarships to students enrolled in:

1. Second cycle of studies: Study programs in Language Science – Romance Studies (French Language); Study programs in Literary and Cultural Studies – Romance Studies (French Literature).
2. Third cycle of studies: Study programs in Language Science – Romance Studies (French Language); Study programs in Literary and Cultural Studies – Romance Studies (French Literature).

• Application form indicating that it pertains to the Call for Scholarships from the "Konstantin Stojanov" Foundation;
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).

V. The eligibility criteria for applying to the Call for students enrolled in second- and third-cycle studies are as follows:

• to have the status of a full-time student;
• not to be recipients of a scholarship from other organizations, institutions, or companies.

VI. Applications, along with the required documentation, must be submitted within 15 days from the date of the publication of the Call on the websites of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University and the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje.
